IS HEAVEN FOR REAL?
What about the little boy who has a near-death experience, didn’t he went to heaven? How can this be? What the little boy experienced will not change the biblical view of the state of the dead. Strongly, all throughout scripture there isn’t any story which we can use to justify what (Carlton) experienced. But as we study more on this topic, please keep in mind that in all things the word of God stands strong above every reasoning, beliefs and experiences. Watching the video at time (14:01), he mentioned that he was able to meet King David. However, with the biblical account of King David, we can clearly see a contradiction between Carlton's story and what the bible has to say.
(Acts 2:29, 34) reads the following: “Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. (34) For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand.”
After reading that the Holy Spirit told the apostles to write about the death of David, you would have to draw the conclusion that God is a liar. Because if the Holy Spirit says that David is not in heaven, and God showed the little boy David because he claimed to have gone to heaven, then He would be misleading us. You would have to decide to you would put your trust in. Psalm 118:8 says, “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.”
Furthermore, scientists have done research and have concluded that people who have these experiences are nothing other than hallucination. “Near death experiences (NDEs) refer to different experiences that the individual may have as they approach death. The most talked about of these experiences occurred to people who were clinically dead (cessation of blood circulation and breathing) but who are brought back from this by medical intervention. Many people believe that NDEs are evidence of life after death but the current scientific consensus is that they are just hallucinations triggered by the brain to allow humans to cope better with their death. The one thing that most people do agree on is that near death experiences do occur. One study suggests that as many as15% of the population in the United States have experienced an NDE. This means that every day about 744 people will have this experience in the US alone.” (1) - alcoholrehab.com - READ IT FOR YOURSELF HERE:
It is now becoming more and more clearer that this spiritual battle is between feelings and God’s words. Ephesians 6:12 says that “we war against spiritual wickedness in high places.” With so many so-called near-death experiences, one must sometimes ask the question: can so many people lie? In reference to the question, people who've experience hallucination; it is sometimes hard for them to differ between the truth. Here goes an article which came as a sudden shock to millions of people world-wide: it states,“Boy Who Came Back From Heaven’ actually didn’t; books recalled” and quoting from the article goes, “Earlier this week, Alex recanted his testimony about the afterlife. In an open letter to Christian bookstores posted on the Pulpit and Pen Web site, Alex states flatly: “I did not die. I did not go to Heaven.” (3). READ IT FOR YOURSELF!
